Complete exterior and interior renovation of this 1960’s era International style jewel in Milwaukee’s Third Ward Historic District. The building includes underground parking, and two floors of collaborative, state of the art work space. Work space for nearly 110 persons within two 6,000 square foot floor plates. Exterior renovation work included landscaping, site and building lighting, façade repairs, new roof and replacement of the original single glazed fixed glass system to an energy efficient storefront window system with operable windows and motorized roller shades. Open workspace re-configuration was design team facilitated by using a uniquely shaped desking system. Each floor has a central gathering/collaboration area with movable white board and felt wall systems. Low floor to floor heights were solved with large format ceiling tile clouds and linear, dimmable LED lighting. There are no private offices in this highly efficient collaborative space. Virtually all interior vertical surfaces serve as marker boards for project centric teaming notes and work flow diagrams.
